LITERATURE, LOVE AND LAUGHTER

January 2014 - August 2017 (on-going)

Creator and writer of the Literature, Love and Laughter blog. Publishing quality content that focused on three main themes: Literature, Love and Laughter. Offering articles, videos, original work, personal essays and much more, the blog was active for four years, and is still active today, though no new content has been added since August. 

FICTION MENTORSHIP

July 2017 - December 2017

Pupil of renowned Canadian author Gail Anderson-Dargatz, KPH spent the duration of her mentorship getting great advice and recommendations on one of her previous pieces of fiction. She learned how to successfully edit and polish her writing, while recognizing her strengths as well. This was an invaluable step in growing as a writer.

OAR - OTTAWA ARTS REVIEW

September 2015 - December 2016

Volunteer Reader and guest Blogger for the OAR literary review. Evaluated the submissions to help the final selection process. Wrote concise articles related to the theme of the issue. 

THIRTYISH.ME

October 2016 - January 2017

Contributor to the thirtyish.me magazine that was officially launched in late 2016. A lifestyle magazine focusing on everyday issues and helpful tips.

ASSORTED PUBLICATIONS

October 2019 - Present Day

Longlisted in ACEworld publishing's poetry contest, and published the piece Untitled in their Beauty of Failure anthology.

Shortlisted in the Brainstorm poetry competition of Open Minds Quarterly for the poem Breakdown, and published in their Fall 2020 issue. 

Published the poem Okay in Open Minds Quarterly's Spring 2020 issue.

Published three poems: Resonating, Perfection, and Distance, as well as a creative non-fiction essay A Name of my Own in the 9th edition of literary journal SULPHUR. 

​

Published the poem My Brother's Old Bedroom is Now the New Guestroom in The Mark Literary Review's November 2020 edition. 

​

Featured in the League of Canadian Poet's Poetry Pause with the poem POET, in the Winter of 2020.
